20 days, 9 rolls

Finally developed and scanned 9 rolls from the holidays in Athens. 20 days of walking around town with my camera,
starting with a neopan 400, now officially my favourite everyday film, completely
in sync with my particular summicron. All frames are naturally scanned along with the negatives:

loving the sunlight tones:

on the boat to Athens:

In Athens switching to TX trying to finish all remaining Kodak rolls.  There’s a lot of shopping goin’ on.

an early morning shot left on the tri-x from the boat:

they were waiting for their dad to come when the doors started to close and they started screaming insanely :) No time to focus.

street hip shot #2:

the mandatory taxi, having left the car back on the island.

scanning flat on the V700, to get more tones and some nice results like the next one, that look good on low contrast:

shot from a taxi (one of the advantages of not driving yourself):

fooling around with that shadow:

the object looked like it too was waiting for the bus:

moments before the “don’t take any pictures speech” in H&M:

Clear sunny days, despite of the cold, helped for good pictures. Street hip shot #3:

finishing a roll before goin’ out:

was trying to get the Robert Mapplethorpe poster:

pick a dog house, any dog house:

switching back to neopan 400, this was the best I could do to get the shot from the back of a moving taxi. He looked pretty out of place staring through that telescope in the middle of the afternoon:

classic:

I really like this one, waited till there was a lot going on in the frame:

street hip shot #7 (I like it when they come out all crooked like that):

two rolls of neopan 1600, shot @800:

love that facial expression:

shot at zara, I felt really bad for the people working in big department stores during the holidays. crazy and hectic:

subway hip shot #3:

the occasional Lego Yoda:

the sight of empty streets like this in Athens at 1:30 during Christmas would be an alien experience 5-6 years ago:

I quite like this one, it looks mysterious:

some clowns are taller than others:

supermarkets right before new year’s, not very enjoyable:

no smoking with shadows:

got some lovely subways shots with the Neopan 1600:

subway hip shot #4:

perhaps my favourite shot from the whole batch:

street hip shot #8:

tram hip shot #4:

in memory of Eve Arnold:

and finally, the last neopan 400:

quite like this one, with a spaceship lights effect:

I have a thing for disco balls:

Lee while waiting for the tram:

and then, 10 minutes after waiting for the tram, now quite bored:

and the last one:
