Let there be color

I finished scanning my first color films from the M7 (and a final color film from the 35ti, from last winter in Athens). Let there be color :)

First, the venerable Kodak Ektar 100, paired with the Summicron 35mm, and combined with the extra luscious spring we ‘re having this year in the island of Leros. Ektar like I’ve never seen it before:

Always reminding me of Obelix:

I’m very impressed by the M7’s lightmeter:

Lavrakia for lunch:

A few shots from a Kodak Color 200 with the M7:

and a couple of shots from a Fuji C200.

Mirror selfie with steam (still getting re-acquainted with rangefinder parallax distortion, but I’ll get there):

  • grass & weeds:

My M7 has now been tested in both B&W and color, and is ready to go :)

Here’s a bonus roll of Kodak Color 400 with the 35ti, shot in Athens last winter:

No description necessary… :

My regular shot in Piraeus, while waiting for the ferry to leave:

And, to end this post, one of the many, many shots I’ve taken of the stained-glass window in my bathroom in Leros, which always changes completely with the different light hitting it (the logo-avatar of my website/instagram is a actually a shot of that very same window at dawn):

Thanks again for tuning in. I’ll be back soon with more posts. Have a lovely day :)
