A couple of summer films +

It sure isn’t easy to emotionally recover from the events of the past few days (and weeks and months and years) in Greece.
Destruction, fascism and ever-rising nationalism, impoverishment, governmental incompetence/corruption/overall fuckery
and fire. FIRE EVERYWHERE.

At this point, I am at a loss for words. All I know is that developing and scanning a couple of films helped ease my mind for a few hours.
I hope you enjoy the photos too.

First, a couple of Fomapans (iso 100) from this August, shot during a couple of brief getaways from the city center:

I can’t believe how well these two came out:

some friends who came to visit:

That’s it from the summer break. I also found a finished film in my compact camera, which I thought was also a Fomapan 100. Turns out it was a Fomapan 400 (which I shot as a 100) from the time around my birthday in March. It included some nice surprises.

this one of Sokratis is pure magic hahaha:

To end the post on a low note, here’s some remnants from the city from all three films:

I leave you with this photo of some lovely fluffy friends, shot somewhere around Kypseli. Stay strong.
